I remember Steve as someone who always had something on his mind, very serious. Maybe, he was not feeling good at that time, but it was not recognized. I won't forget your face.

I bought my first real car from Steve I think around 1978. It was a 1967 GTO that had been painted blue with White flames by Curt Bacon. I still remember going to Steve's house to pick up the car and talking with Steve for at least an hour about cars and my new GTO. Everytime I would see him he would ask me "hows the Goat running?"

Though I didnt know Steve all that well I was friends with his brother Dave and worked with him at Pizza Hut during high school. Dave also loved muscle cars and had one of the coolest 1967 Camero's around!

I was very sorry to hear that Steve had passed away.
