LuAnne Jeanette Hudson, 63, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, passed away peacefully in her home on May 3, 2025.

Born on April 2, 1962, in Fort Dodge, LuAnne lived a life full of warmth, humor, and quiet strength. She was united in marriage to Douglas Hudson on January 18, 1980. The couple later divorced but remained close friends. She had a deep love for collecting—finding joy in the little treasures of life—and she held her friends, family, and beloved car close to her heart.

LuAnne is survived by her daughter, Danielle (Kevin) Gleason, and her cherished grandchildren, Kendall and Callan, all of Rochester, Minnesota. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother, Brian (Holli) Berg of Fort Dodge, Iowa; sisters, Teresa Smith (Bob Schilske) of Fort Dodge and Michelle (Chad McCarty) of North Liberty Iowa, several nieces and nephews and countless friends.

A celebration of LuAnne’s life will be held on June 21st from 4-7 pm at her home, 1024 S 25th Street, where family and friends are welcome to gather, share memories, and honor the woman she was.

LuAnne will be deeply missed, but her love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
