30 Yr Reunion Plans

DETAILS

The 30 year class reunion will be Sat. June 26th, 2010 at the Laramar Ballroom (downtown).  Dress is casual.  D.J. is booked!  5:00 p.m. to Midnight.  Food will be brought in throughout the night.  Taco Tico, Community (old Pasquales style) Pizza and even Dariette will be served.  We want all munchie food so people have an opportunity to constantly mingle throughout the night.  No sitting around...stay up and moving !  The more people you meet, the more fun you'll have!

Grand Funk Railroad will be performing in Fort Dodge on Saturday, July 3, for the Shellabration event.  This will be a huge community concert.  We encourage people to plan to stay the entire week and catch both our class reunion event and this wonderful concert!  (Classmates Steve Brown & Jim Reed are board members)  Past events have been an enormous success !  We will have an special area reserved for the CLASS OF 1980 !

Other "mini" events are being planned by classmates for the week prior to and the week after June 26.  Motorcycle Poker Run will be held Saturday, June 26 from late morning to late afternoon.  It will start and end at Rides Bar & Grill.  Cars along with motorcyles are invited.  Money raised will be donated to the local Youth Shelter.

Mineral City Racing on Friday evening, June 25.  We will have a special section for the CLASS OF 80 that night also.  After the race everyone is invited to a socialize and enjoy a band at Rides Bar & Grill.  (we are hoping for a band that our fellow classmates are members of).  Details will be coming.

Other ideas floating around include:  Singles event, Christian event, Golf Outing, Potluck at a Park, Home Parties, Military Service group, Karaoke ...contact us if you have a hobby or idea that you would like to organize an event around.  We are guessing that these "mini" events will be a great way to get to know people with common interests that you may not have known in high school and also more "comfortable" for many people.  The BIG event on Saturday night can be a little intimidating, especially to the guests that didn't graduate with us !
